Demand for SaaS services is growing. Enterprise buyers realize that they need services that span the HfS SaaS services Value Chain to ensure a successful SaaS deployment experience. Saas service providers have opportunities to develop and enhance their service offerings to be more relevant to the SaaS market. This includes making consulting, implementation and post-deployment management services more flexible and proactive.
As well as staying abreast of all software developments, service providers must align these to dynamic client business objectives. As well as investment in the services portfolio, service providers need to align to the 8 HfS ideals of the As-a-Service economy to remain competitive. These include delivering new technologies such as Intelligent Automation and Accessible and Actionable Data as well as changing client engagement methodologies such as prioritizing Collaborative Engagement and becoming Brokers of Capability. There are still many opportunities to strengthen both service development and alignment to the HfS ideals of the As-a-Service economy as the SaaS services market matures.
